What is Self-provisioning?

As we have already seen in the post How can I invite users to my account?, both the Administrator and Business Analyst can invite as many users as they wish through the ‘User Management’ section. Being an Administrator or Business Analyst, you only need to know the email addresses of the users you want to invite, so that they can join your account.

However, it is also possible for users themselves to manage the creation of their own account.

If you set up a domain when creating your organization (e.g. ‘flokzu.com’), users who have an email address from that domain will be able to request to join your organization directly (without the need to receive an invite).

How to config Self-provisioning?

To configure this correctly we must go to the left menu in the Configuration/Advanced section and in the Domain, for self-provisioning section we enter the domain of our organization or the email that we are going to allow to be able to register in our organization without sending an invitation.

New users will be able to join your organization from https://app.flokzu.com/join without the need for you to send them an invitation. This way you can publish this link in your web page, intranet or in the onboadring process of new users.

Should I pay for the users that were self-provisioned?

Yes. Self-provisioned users, once they register to your account, they bear no difference to rest of your users.
